The demand and excitement for apocalyptic and epic films is on rise these days and almost every week we have news about some remake or a new film on the subject. Pacific Rim is the latest epic in this line of films, directed by Guillermo del Toro. It is about the epic war between sea monsters and the human race, with a lot of crazy action and destruction.
However, good news for Godzilla fans is that we would soon also see a new film about the master of destruction, Godzilla.
A remake of Godzilla is underway, directed by Gareth Edwards. There is still a considerable amount of time in its release, since it won’t hit the theaters before May 2014. But just the news of a Godzilla remake is sufficient to excite the fans of this monster.
The official Facebook page of this remake is quite active and recently, some still images were uploaded on the page, which were apparently from the San Diego Comic Con trailer. The image, however, is very interesting and one can visualize the destruction from it. It shows an annihilated building, with a man standing on the top of it, apparently surveying the destruction unleashed by Godzilla.
According to the rumors and speculations, the image would be included in the final trailer of the film. So far there is no news about any further images or trailer belonging to the film but just stay patient and more information would soon follow.
